Carlo Lorenzini was born in Florence under the sign of the Sagittarius, in 1826, from a modest family. Onche he finished the studies, he collaborates to some Florentine newspapers until he voluntary participates to the war champaigne in the 1848 at the end of which founds a newspaper of political satire, "Il Lampione'', which had a great fortune but that was suppressed after the 1849 restoration.

Replaced with another, "La Scaramuccia'', later Collodi took back to the earlier publication in 60's, when he came back the new champaigne of war interrupted by the peace of Villafranca.

In 1875 he translates for a Florentine publisher the tales of Perrault and so he begins to write quite a lot lucky tales' books: "Giannettino", 1876, "Minuzzolo", 1878, and "The trip along ltaly of Giannettino", "Geography of Giannettino", "Grammar of Giannettino", etc.

"The adventures of Pinocchio, story of a puppet" is one of the four or five of the universal literature masterpieces for the infancy, and it is the undisputed Italian masterpiece.

Published to episodes beginning from July 7, 1881 on the "Giornale per i bambini' by Ferdinando Martini, with the simple title story of a puppet and with an anonymous illustrations, it appeared in volume in 1883, by the publisher Felice Paggi of Florence, illustrated by Henry Mazzanti. The number of editions, reprinted and translations (over two hundred, these last, shed all over the world) had published since 1883 to nowadays, it is incalculable indeed.

To a careful reading of the table, it doesn't escape a certain tendency of the author to impart teachings, meticulously concerning rules, always glanced in a positive key, of the olders, contrasting to the transgressive instinct and scamp of the youngers, well explained by the Sagittarius values expressed by the Sun of birth, as it regards the continuous ethic, loyal attention of the rules, from the Moon in Virgo that, in sestile to the Asc. Cancer, well underlines the love for the family and children who shines through in characters of Geppetto,in the tale.

But the tale also underline the tendency, more sickening, of every character to say at least a lie. Geppetto tells lies to himself deluding that the wood he bit, worked as a child; Pinocchio and Lucignolo even almost tell some lies a vital component and even the virginal Speaking Cricket tells a lie when he let believe to be died. This postpones us two fundamental horoscopic factors: Sagittarius, sign that, together with Pisceses, is ruled by the smoky Neptune and that, mantling of an apparent news motivated by the other Planet that in these signs shares with Neptune the rulership that's Jupiter, in reality they love to surround only an own truth, without deepening if this were real or only an interpretation extremely personalized of the events. The other important factor, as regarding the lies in general, is constituted by Pluto: this Planet is situated, in Lorenzini's Chart, in Aries, in very strong position, vertex of a Great Trine of Fire where the other two poles are the Sun and the Ascendant!

In short, showing up Lorenzini's personality, as emerges from his astral picture, it gets easy imagining him as a goliardic Pinocchio who tells a great deal lies awkward way, but who in situations of mere utilitarianism (trine of Moon to Uranus and trine Pluto/Sun), reaching his own goals, not hesitating to turn himself into the Cat and the Fox!
