THE CHARACTER OF MASTER CHERRY

The story of Pinocchio begins really with Master Cherry, called this way because of his red nose as a sharpen cherry!

It's he, who discovers the famous wood piece which speaks and which will become later Pinocchio.

It's he, who, taken by fear to listen to a wood piece which speaks, decides to give it to Geppetto, who comes and notes it in the Master Cherry's house, asking to him some wood to build a puppet with which to make luck.

And who knows why Master Cherry gives him as a present just the one which speaks.....

Also at times their notorious self-control is a form of lie, since equivale of fact to the refusal to express their true feelings dissimulating them. You could say that Capricorn lies with silence!

In the story of Pinocchio, Master Cherry represents well the typical Capricorn; he is in fact "Master", that is teacher in his profession of carpenter. Capricorn extends to excel and to come true especially in professional circle, contemplating to the vertex to the authoritative and prestigious positions.

Master Cherry, has besides another capricornian characteristic, and that is a deep distrust (or perhaps really fear…) toward everything appears new, unknown, unusual, eccentric…; it is clear in fact immediately of the wood piece which speaks, giving it to Geppetto.
